Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and [Legal name] (“Mumblet”, “we”, “us”) for using mumblet.com and the Mumblet app. By using Mumblet, you agree to them. Please read them before buying a plan.

1. Who can use Mumblet
   Mumblet is a speech practice tool for children ages 2 to 6, used together with a parent or caregiver. You must be an adult to create an account or buy a plan. You are responsible for how the children in your care use Mumblet.
2. What Mumblet is, and isn’t
   Mumblet supports everyday speech practice at home. It is not speech therapy, a medical device or a diagnostic tool, and it does not replace advice from a speech-language pathologist, doctor or other professional. If you are worried about your child’s speech, please talk to a qualified professional.
3. The free starter deck
   You can use the starter deck for free, without an account. We may change what the free deck includes at any time.
4. Plans and payments
   Full access is available with a monthly or annual plan. Prices are shown before you buy and may include taxes depending on where you live.
   Our order process is conducted by our online reseller [Payment provider]. [Payment provider] is the merchant of record for all our orders and handles customer service inquiries about payments and returns.
5. Automatic renewal and cancellation
   Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the price shown when you bought it, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and you will not be charged again.
   If we change the price of a plan, we will email you before your next renewal. The new price applies only from your next renewal.
6. No refunds
   All payments are final and non-refundable, including for partly used billing periods, except where the law requires otherwise. See our Refund Policy for details.
7. Using Mumblet fairly
   You agree not to copy, resell or share paid content or access outside your household; not to copy or scrape the word cards, pictures, audio or Mumblet character; and not to interfere with the site, the app or other people’s use of them. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
8. Our content
   The Mumblet name, the Mumblecards name, the Mumblet capybara character, the word cards, pictures, audio and software belong to [Legal name]. Your plan gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your household’s practice. Nothing else is transferred to you.
9. Changes to Mumblet
   We keep improving Mumblet, so we may add, change or remove words, decks and features. We will not remove the core practice experience from a paid plan during a billing period you have already paid for.
10. Availability
    We work to keep Mumblet available, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Mumblet runs in your web browser, and some features, such as speech recognition, depend on your browser and device.
11. Limitation of liability
    Mumblet is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses from using Mumblet, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
    We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and if a change is important, we will email account holders before it takes effect. If you keep using Mumblet after a change, the new terms apply.
13. Governing law
    These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia, without affecting any consumer protection rights you have in the country where you live.
